André Lee Roberson (born December 4, 1991) is an American professional basketball player who most recently played for the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets (NBA). He was a member of the Colorado Buffaloes in college basketball. Roberson earned first-team all-conference accolades in the Pac-12 for the second time as a junior in 2013. On the outskirts of San Antonio, Roberson attended Karen Wagner High School. He averaged 15 points, 12 rebounds, and 1.7 blocked shots per game as a senior.  Roberson, a three-star recruit according to ESPN.com, was ranked as the nation’s No. 62 power forward in 2010.

Coached by Tad Boyle, Roberson played for the Colorado Buffaloes. Roberson was one of the top rebounders in the country during his three years at CU, placing third in 2011–12 and second in 2012–13. Both years, he guided the Buffaloes to the NCAA Tournament. Roberson averaged 10.9 points and 11.2 rebounds per game as a junior in 2012–13.

The Minnesota Timberwolves selected Roberson with the 26th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draught, however he was later traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder on draught night.  After a great Summer League performance, he signed with the Thunder on July 12. He had various assignments with the NBA Development League’s Tulsa 66ers during his first season.

Roberson re-joined the Thunder for the 2014 NBA Summer League in July 2014.  The Thunder activated their third-year team option on Roberson’s rookie scale contract on October 22, 2014, extending it through the 2015–16 season.  Roberson earned the starting shooting guard position for the Thunder for the 2014–15 season, and on December 10, he got his first career double-double (10 points, 12 rebounds).

Roberson’s rookie scale deal was extended through the 2016–17 season after the Thunder activated their fourth-year team option on October 23, 2015. In 2015–16, he was retained as the starting shooting guard, and on December 23, he set a career best with 15 points in a 120–85 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. On January 25, 2016, he was diagnosed with a right knee injury and was ruled out for three weeks.

After missing ten games, he returned to action on February 24. Roberson had a career-high 17 points and 12 rebounds in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, as the Thunder defeated the Golden State Warriors 118–94 to take a 3–1 series lead.  After that, the Thunder lost the series in seven games.

Due to the loss of Kevin Durant and the addition of Victor Oladipo, Roberson was promoted to the starting small forward position for the 2016–17 season.  In a 110–93 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on February 24, 2017, he set a new career best with 19 points.  Roberson was chosen to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team at the end of the season.

Roberson re-signed with the Thunder on July 14, 2017, for a three-year, $30 million deal.  Roberson ruptured his left patellar tendon on January 27 against the Detroit Pistons, after missing eight games in January 2018 due to left patellar tendonitis. The following day, he had surgery and was ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Roberson was ruled out for another two months on October 4, 2018, after undergoing a procedure as a result of a setback in his rehab from left knee surgery.  Roberson felt soreness after landing from a jump in late November, and an MRI indicated that he had a tiny avulsion fracture in his knee. He was ruled out for at least another six weeks after that.
