Billie Eilish is an American singer-songwriter. Pirate Baird O’Connell born December 18, 2001) is a singer and songwriter from the United States. Her debut song “Ocean Eyes,” which was later released by Interscope subsidiary Darkroom, originally got her recognition in 2015. Her brother Finneas O’Connell, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows, wrote and produced the song.

When Eilish’s dancing teacher, Fred Diaz, at the Revolution Dance Center, requested them to write a song for choreography, he gave it to her. Eilish released an EP for “Ocean Eyes” on January 14, 2017, with four remixes by Astronomyy, Blackbear, Goldhouse, and Cautious Clay, and another EP for “Six Feet Under” with remixes by Blu J, Gazzo, Jerry Folk, and Aire Atlantica. Eilish’s team collaborated with Spotify, which included her on the “Today’s Top Hits” playlist, which is the most popular on the platform.  According to The Baffler, Eilish’s sound is part of the “streambait” genre, which is characterised by “mid-tempo, gloomy pop” influenced by Lana Del Rey, whose “singing style, bleakness, and hip-hop influenced production” established the aesthetic. Eilish’s commercial success grew with the release of her new album.


The Where’s My Mind Tour, Eilish’s second headlining concert tour, began in February 2018 and ended in April 2018  On March 30, 2018, “Bitches Broken Hearts” was re-released internationally.  Eilish released “Party Favor” on a pink 7-inch vinyl for Record Store Day 2018, coupled with a B-side that featured a cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”
