Jared Tristan Padalecki (born July 19, 1982) is an actor from the United States. He is best recognized for his role as Sam Winchester in the Supernatural television series. He was born in Texas and rose to prominence in the early 2000s as a result of his roles in the television series Gilmore Girls and the films New York Minute (2004) and House of Wax (2005).He ran for the Presidential Scholars Program in 2000.

Always Keep Fighting 2 is the second campaign in the series. Padalecki and co-star Jensen Ackles collaborated on a tee that included both of their faces to raise money for their newly founded joint philanthropic fund. There were over 70,000 shirts sold. Padalecki just started a third campaign, selling a total of 40,000 shirts. More than 6,000 fans stunned Padalecki at the Supernatural panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2015 by holding up candles.
