Les Twins, also known as Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois (born December 6, 1988), are French dancers, choreographers, producers, models, designers, and the creative directors of their brand “Eleven Paris.” They are known internationally for their talents in new style hip-hop dancing and diverse dancing genres, and are often referred to by their individual nicknames, “Lil Beast” and “Ca Blaze.” They are twin brothers that are identical. The self-taught dancing team, who were born and bred in Sarcelles, France, were the darlings of the French people in 2008 as finalists on the popular television show Incroyable Talent. After a video of their performance on the San Diego leg of the 2010 World of Dance tour became popular on YouTube, they immediately ascended to prominence in the United States, with over 46 million views as of December 1, 2019. In 2011, they won the famous international street dance competition Juste Debout’s hip-hop new style section. They were the winners of Jennifer Lopez’s executive-produced American reality competition series World of Dance in 2017. Solo acts and larger groups competed for a top prize in the series.

Les Twins made headlines in the dance world in March 2008 when they defeated French street dancers Joseph Go and Meech Onomo in the semi-finals of the famous international dance competition Juste Debout. The twins were among the top twelve finalists participating on the Incroyable Talent finale show on November 13, 2008, which was seen by over 4 million people and was hosted by Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. They were hired in 2009 to play Twins, a two-man hip-hop comedy revue choreographed by their long-time coach Abibou. A video of their performance during the World of Dance tour in San Diego went viral on YouTube in August 2010. They made their American television debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on November 9, 2010. The twins won the Hip-hop New Style division at Juste Debout in March 2011, beating out 353 other dancers. In 2012, Bellman and Lewis appeared on the SYTYCD Season 9 Atlanta auditions show, stating that their previous year’s performance was a tribute to Les Twins’ work (using archived footage from the show).
