The Janoskians (just another term for a bunch of wacky kids from another country) are a Melbourne, Australia-based YouTube comedy troupe. Beau Brooks, twins Luke and Jai Brooks, and friends Daniel Sahyounie and James Yammouni make up the group. Yammouni left the company in 2016. Fans of the Janoskians are known as ‘Janoskianators.’ In their videos, they do gross out humour and pranks on non-conventional people.

All five members of the original lineup were born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Beau is the oldest brother, Luke and Jai are twins, and they met Daniel and James at school. Beau and Daniel graduated from high school, but James, Luke, and Jai dropped out in order to devote their time to the group.

After Scooter Braun tweeted Ellen DeGeneres with the Janoskians’ attempt, they were featured on Ellen’s Dance Dares episode.

The group planned a meet and greet with their fans at Melbourne’s Luna Park on March 31, 2012. However, the event had to be cancelled due to unexpectedly large crowds. On July 7, 2012, the group scheduled a meet and greet event at Westfield Whitford City shopping centre in Perth, Western Australia. 3,000 teenagers attended the occasion, where they met with the president.

The Janoskians: MTV Sessions, an eight-episode web show for MTV Australia, premiered in late 2012. The show was originally broadcast on MTV Australia’s website for eight weeks, but it is now available to view on the “MTV International” Channel on Youtube.

The Janoskians’ first charting single, “Set This World on Fire,” peaked at number 19 in Australia’s Singles C chart in 2012.On 22 February 2014, The Janoskians scheduled a meet-up in Times Square, New York. James discussed how, after losing weight, he is still the same person, Luke discussed his passion for photography, Daniel discussed how people assume he is stupid, and Jai discussed his abs.Brooks and Daniel’s brother surprised the lads at the event, fooling them into thinking they were back in Australia.

The Jahoo Jahaa Tour, which is currently in its third year, visited the United Kingdom, Europe, America, and Australia.
